When we took the picture of the stack of quilt tops waiting to be quilted, we also took some of them out to the roof garden for their outdoors photo. First up was the crib size Dresden Plate quilt. This … Continue reading
That’s what I was doing yesterday – auditioning fabrics for the Pickled Ladies edges as the Pickled Ladies centre is almost together now. It will be larger than it appears in this photo as I decided to add more rows … Continue reading
After finishing the Colourful Crosspatch quilt, I wasn’t sure what I was going to work on next. The Summer Picnic Dish quilt won as it will grow quickly and I would love to see it finished before it’s too late … Continue reading
While I definitely want to get back to working on the Stormy Seas quilt top, I think after the POTC top is finished I’m going to need some curved piecing. That is, after all, my favourite. So the Summer Picnic … Continue reading

Seams graded and the Caribbean summer sunflower pressed.

He was stretched out on his kitty tree watching the gardeners out on the roof garden yesterday.
I said the next one was going to be subdued in comparison to yesterday’s orange sunflower. And this one is. But if I’m going for a colour-wash effect with these blocks, there will be some very subdued, muted sunflowers. I’m … Continue reading
