This is what I’ve been doing for the past few days. Stitching loads and loads of rosy towers around squares for the Springtime in Paris quilt.
And grading the seam allowances.
I decided to do all the stitching of towers to squares at once. That way, once I get to adding the peels and joining to the top row, all I’ll need to think about is colour placement of the peels. No stopping to stitch another square/tower centre. Just pick up the next completed centre and start adding peels. I still have quite a few tower/square combinations to stitch. But they’re quick to make as each one is one thread of continuous stitching and then on to the next. So maybe, just maybe, by this time next week all of this will be done.
“Happy St. Patrick’s Day.”
The kitties have an uneasy truce about sharing the kitty tree. Uneasy only because there is usually some wild waving of paws before they settle down. Last night had Jake taking possession of the upper tier.
That will be a very nice quilt! Happy St.Patrick’s to you, too!
I knew it was just a matter of time before those cats headed for the Pub!
Looks like the dueling for power is on for now! Keeps it interesting, doesn’t it!

I look forward to seeing the peels sewn on. I might have to add this to my to do list. Just love curves. Don’t know why. Just do.

Love the name Rosy Towers. Maybe more than Springtime in Paris. It is looking like it is going to be a beautiful quilt. Looks like kittens and alien are wondering if this should be their last stop.
