The days may be getting cooler and shorter, but I can pretend it’s warm and sunny by working on another 6″ sunflower. Doesn’t this one make you think of the tropics? I think it belongs with the other sunflowers I’ve made that I’ve dubbed Caribbean sunflowers.
I have a feeling the sunflowers will be my favourite project this winter. If I’m determined to live in denial about the weather, I may as well work on something that is going to turn into a fabulous quilt.
