The days may be getting cooler and shorter, but I can pretend it’s warm and sunny by working on another 6″ sunflower. Doesn’t this one make you think of the tropics? I think it belongs with the other sunflowers I’ve made that I’ve dubbed Caribbean sunflowers.
I have a feeling the sunflowers will be my favourite project this winter. If I’m determined to live in denial about the weather, I may as well work on something that is going to turn into a fabulous quilt.
The back after the seams were all graded and the little sunflower was pressed.
“The Gathering.” The little alien got the teleporter going and now Pappy has come to join the gang.
Jake has definitely made himself at home.

All a cat needs is a quilt and they are home!
