While I’ve been working on something else, I have also been working on finishing up piecing the wild floral kaleidoscope stars.
The closer I got to finishing them, the more fun I was having making them.
They’re actually all done now, but they’ve not all been photographed yet.
It may take a few posts to show them all.
And there is no way I can pick a favourite from these.
Where have I been? Working on hand quilting the Summer Picnic Dish. I had thought I’d machine quilt it, but I just couldn’t do it justice with my limited machine quilting skills. So I decided to go back to the original plan to hand quilt it and am so glad I did.
We had a few wild days of weather – the weekend was unbelievably mild but with that mildness came some crazy wind. I had an appointment downtown on Monday and thought I was going to get blown off my feet. And then the temperature dropped and dropped.
“Getting Ready for the Sales.”
Baxter has been very busy the past few days chasing leaves as they fly by the window. So he’s definitely ready for a snooze on his kitty tree.
Each one of those stars is so unique! Can’t chose a favorite!
So what will the alien and Baxter find to purchase on Black Friday?
My cats literally go out and chase the leaves and then come in and nap the rest of the day, it’s hard work!

I’m glad you decided to hand quilt it. 🙂 We had the same weather here. Now the temps are dropping as well…my kittys are curling up next to the wood stove. Baxter does look bushed . I’ll wait in anticipation for the rest of the florals…

Wonder what is on the aliens’ shopping lists for Black Friday 🙂 Very cute photo of Baxter. I love his furry little toes sticking out. Your kaleidoscope stars have such interesting patterns with the fussy-cut florals. Beautiful!
