I know you’ve seen Candy Stars quite a few times. Now, if you go to today’s post on Wanda’s blog, Exuberant Color, you can see it on the doll bed for which it was made. I was so glad when I got the e-mail yesterday saying it had arrived.
It was an absolute joy making Candy Stars as Wanda’s blog is one which I’ve followed pretty much since I began blogging. I love watching her amazing use of colour.
Today and tomorrow are the last days for voting for your favourites in the Bloggers’ Quilt Festival. Each category has its own post on which you can vote. Candy Stars is in the doll and mini quilt category.
“King Size.” Baxter wasn’t going to be left out – so he and Cappy got their own four-poster bed in today’s ‘toon.
His favourite spot now that there is activity to be seen out on the roof garden – his kitty tree.
I visited, and I voted…..hope I’m not too late! That little quilt looks wonderful on its bed. Somehow the action on the roof garden seems to be passing Baxter by, to judge by his pose……..

Cathi ~ your nimble fingers just amaze me. Working on that small scale takes time and patience. Your detailed designs and fabrics are absolutely supreme. I have been a friend of Wanda’s for over 50 years and when she recognizes a talent like yours…. indeed it is a high compliment.
