6 More Pickled Ladies and a Plan

Lots of stitching and talking on Tuesday resulted, for me, in six more finished Pickled Ladies.  I think this will end up as a large wall hanging with a narrow stop border in black and a larger border in a shabby floral.  When I have all the ones that are currently prepped done, then I’ll assess its size.

Tuesday was chilly again with temps in the mid 20s.  But it looks like we’re heading into a nice warm-up, so I’m hoping that maybe we’ve had the worst of winter and now it’s just a matter of waiting for the warmer weather to arrive.

Smudge was reaching for the kitty toy basket from the kitty bed.  Always makes me laugh when he does something like this.

Lester was having a snooze.

  1. Your Pickled ladies are really looking good! I can’t wait to see them all in a wonderful wall hanging.
It will be in the 60’s today and snow is melting all over the place, now the mud! But this weekend we are back down to winter and the 30’s and chances of snow. Winter isn’t done yet in Nebraska!

  2. Oh boy these blocks are beautiful. I love the fabric florals and the way they work together. So, so pretty. …and I’m cracking up at Smudge and his toy basket w/ his MSKP’s. THAT is C.U.T.E. Mostly though I’m happy to see Lester resting peacefully.

  3. Like the plan for the Pickled Ladies, it sounds good! We are due for another hot weekend, but hopefully the heat of summer will soon go – I have had enough now. Autumn will be a welcome relief.
