As usual around here, there were fabric bits scattered about last night. Could I play with them? Oh, no! They were for sunflowers, she said, or pickles or … wait a minute. Pickles? Since when is she sewing pickles? I thought they ate pickles, didn’t know she had to sew them.
She finished this blue sunflower last night and seemed quite thrilled with it. Looks like the others to me – loads and loads of little fabric bits that I could have fun playing with if they were left within paw’s reach.
Looks like they’ve finally figured out what I’m looking at out the window at night. “It’s Batcat!”
Had to rest up after all that. With one of my favourite toys, “Cappy.”

Oh, that blue one is FABULOUS!! And I’m very glad the post title was inspired by a Baxtertoon and not an unfortunate mishap with the kitty tree- you had me worried there for a few minutes while the page loaded 🙂

The blue sunflower reminds me of delft blue china…so lovely! Baxter and I have something in common besides fabric…we both love The Bat!

Finally got Internet. In France on canal du midi. Love your block. Do far no fabric or lace. May have to wait for Paris. Will touch base next week to catch up.
