I love having a little stack of pieces all ready to stitch. They will be part of the next group of batik sunflowers. The glassine envelopes I have are too small for these, so I think I’ll start using regular envelopes for them. I’ve pulled a few more batiks out that will make interesting sunflowers and will print the shapes sometime this week to add to the mix.

We know that Baxter is a Blue Jays fan, but he was particularly happy last night when the Jays won a game against the Yankees. The Jays have had a tough season with injury after injury after injury, so any win now is a huge treat.

He was in “his” chair, watching as we took the photo of the sunflower bits.
