Weekend Plans

There are about 75 of the little 2″ Drunkard’s Path blocks shown here.

And enough to make just a few more blocks in this fabulous box.

Deceptive, isn’t it? Looks like a book. A non-blogging friend, who knows of my love for pretty boxes, sent this to me. By the time the weekend is over, I hope to have printed and at least halfway fill this wonderful book box with the shapes for the remaining 500+ blocks I need to make for the quilt.

I’m also hopeful that we’ll make it to the Creativ Festival this weekend.

So those are my plans for the weekend – filled with quilt-related things, I hope. What have you got planned for this weekend?

And Baxter’s plans for the weekend? Cat naps and reminding us whatever way he can to go to the pet store to get his favourite food!

  1. 500???!!! Crazy! But I know you’ll do it and it will be fantastic!
Weekend plans…a birthday party with all siblings, some of her grandkids and great-grandkids for my 93 year old mother!

While the people are alway, the cats will play! Better lock up those quilt pieces!

  2. What have I got planned for the weekend? Well I think Baxter has the right idea, LOL… Oh it’s a cat’s life or in my case bunnies’ life.
I plan to do some sewing of some sort but not sure what. I need to finish an apron for my mum, may work on that.
I love your drunkard’s path project. It’s gorgeous. I could print some out. Or I could print out some NYB’s or some other shapes from a number of other projects.. LOL… First up though I’m going to sew up some disappearing 4 patches for my Rainbow Challenge…. Though at the moment I’m tempted to do what Baxter is doing in his picture ;)) Ellyx

  3. What pretty blocks! Baxter, as always, is so photogenic. I’ll be quilting baby quilts for our Welcome Home project here in Laramie saturday, then yardwork, family stuff and hand applique Sunday. Laramie, along with all the country, is experiencing a warmer than normal spring. Enjoy your weekend!
