Seems I missed a week altogether, but now I have another Drunkard’s Path basket block to add to my first one. I don’t seem to be moving very quickly on making these, which surprises me as I normally churn out little Drunkard’s Path blocks in seconds. Love that curved piecing!
So I pulled a few batiks that I think will play nicely as basket blocks and some of these will get used. I now have a setting idea, so will be printing the shapes for and making the centre block next and then will work around it. I think now that I have a plan, things will fall into place and I’ll be really motivated to get moving quickly on this! It won’t be a big quilt, but rather a small table topper. I think. Famous last words with me – I get going and suddenly I have a larger quilt than I had expected to make.
While they don’t actually curl up together, sometimes Baxter and Jake are seen somewhat close together.

I’m linking up to Vicki Welsh’s DP QAL along with others on this winding journey. Go here to see what the others have been doing!
Cathi, I love the Drunkards path.. and seeing these versions is very helpful for mind block. Are these in your usual “tiny” pieces fashion? They really are incredible and beautiful.
The cats are looking almost snuggly together.
If you need a couple more kittens…I rescued four and am down to three. 🙂
