And The Winner Is …

You’ll have to bear with me for a minute before you find out.

First of all, thank you to everyone who commented yesterday! I am slowly responding to the comments — and discovering lots of new-to-me blogs in the process. And that has been the best part of this whole week of Blogathon Canada – discovering new blogs. So another huge thank you to Sew Sisters for making this possible!

Who’s the winner of this gorgeous bundle of batik FQs? Well, Mr. Q.O. was busy with ‘toons to show the process that went on choosing the winner.

First it was little pieces of paper with numbers from which Baxter was to choose the winner. You can see how well that worked in this ‘toon! Baxter loves playing with and chewing on paper, so we should have known that wasn’t going to be successful.

Then we decided we’d better use the random number generator. There were 139 comments yesterday, but 3 were double commenters, so the numbers entered were from 1 to 136. Number 22 was the number the random number generator came up with.

And who’s the winner? Bonnie from Brampton, Ontario. Watch your e-mail Bonnie, as I will be e-mailing you to get your address.  Congratulations!

And thank you to everyone again. It was a wonderful experience! And I think we all have been winners as we have discovered so many wonderful Canadian quilting bloggers over the past week. I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to be one of  the host blogs.

After all the excitement, Baxter had to have a nap.

And do stay tuned, as I’m planning another giveaway in a couple of weeks.

  1. I loved all the quilts in your last post – it was so nice to see them again but I didn’t read it until the comments were closed! I love the Baxtertoons, no wonder Baxter’s worn out after all that paper chasing! Congratulations to Bonnie!
