I know this has been addressed on other blogs but feel compelled to mention it. Lately I have received comments to which I would like to reply or which ask questions. I would love to reply but can’t when someone has their settings at no reply. Please, please if you leave a comment asking a question, change your settings from no reply so that I and others for whom you leave comments or questions can reply!
There are two great tutorials on Chookyblue‘s blog on this. First there’s how to leave a comment at this post and then there is this post on how to change your settings from no reply. If you’re concerned your e-mail address will show up or get harvested, you could always open a Web-based e-mail account that you use only for commenting on blogs.
And just because he’s such a big lovey of a cat, yet another picture of our Lester. I’m not sure what he’s saying with this look, but love the picture! He truly is our house lion!

Kanga does “no reply” sometimes I think. She’s bad I tell you! Bad!

Oh my goodness, Lester looks like he could straighten out my Ozzie in no time flat! Can I borrow him for an afternoon? He looks like a cat who does not suffer fools.

Good luck with this Cathi. I’ve tried a couple times to fix this and I know many others have posted this. I hope you can convince people.

I’ve tried too. You can see my tutorial here.

For wordpress users like myself that don’t have a blogger account, we can’t leave comments on blogs that only allow blogger users. It’s a bit frustrating sometimes…

I ditto your frustration. I love to respond to folks, but it’s so hard when they are no reply. Thanks for posting about this!

I have to keep reminding myself to always check first if people are on “no reply” but I keep forgetting. I have written long replies only to discover too late that I can’t send it.

Good post Cathy….and as for Lester he does have that air of royalty about him…

Does this mean you can’t access the person’s blog either? Or they just don’t have their email accessible to you?Lately I have been replying by commenting on the person’s blog…I hope that is acceptable!
