Canada Day – 150!!

Canada 150 Quiltwtmk

I got my little red and white Canada 150 quilt finished just in time for Canada Day! The weather cooperated yesterday so we could get a photo of it out on the roof garden. It’s 22″ square.

I’m particularly thrilled with it because it was made using shapes I printed on my fabrics with Inklingo, which was invented by Linda Franz, a very talented Canadian quilter!

  1. What a beautiful red and white quilt! It makes me happy that you are an Inklingoist! Happy Canada Day from one Canadian to another.

      • Wait… I’ve been reading your blog on and off for a few years, and just realized that you and Linda are BOTH Canadian? That’s so cool. (I’m going back over old posts looking for a finished pic of the Pickled Ladies quilt with borders added. I’m totally enjoying the process!)

    • Thank you! It was fun to make. Maybe I should make a little red and white quilt every year for Canada Day – in fact, I think I might just make that a goal. 😉

    • Thank you, Betsy!! I’m really happy with my little Canada Day quilt – I don’t often work with triangles, this makes me think I should do more with them.
