This is one of my favourite little quilts — a simple 9-patch quilt that I hand pieced and machine quilted a while ago. Looking at it now makes me think that perhaps a simple 9-patch quilt is something to work on, bit by bit. Putting together one of those blocks is perhaps something I’ll endeavour to do once a week until I have enough for a lap quilt for us.
That one was, however, made for a teddy bear.
As was this small LeMoyne Star quilt. That was made using the 4.5″ LeMoyne Star collection from Inklingo, the first downloadable collection that was released a couple of years ago.
I got a start on the blocks for the next row of Spring Circles on Thursday night. Hopefully it’s nice enough this weekend to get a photo of it outside to show next week.
Lester spent some time on the windowsill Thursday.
While Smudge was — well, being Smudge and relaxing on the couch.

A very sweet little nine-patch quilt Cathi! Love those little quilts!

I’ll bet your Smudge and Lester are a bit jealous! Have you ever made a quilt for them? Our oldest dog called Emma was never in sight except on those times when I used to sandwich a quilt on the livingroom floor. Then she immediately called it hers by laying down on it LOL. Have a nice day and happy sewing, Daniëlle

I love those two little quilts and the teddy bears on them too. I’m a bear fanatic. Lester was looking quite regal and Smudge was looking quite cute in their photos. So happy that both are doing well and give us daily updates on them. How is the quilt for your Aunt coming along? I love what you’ve showed so far. Hope your weather is warming up, we are finally in the high 70’s to low 80’s and the wind is minimal, but the allergies are still going strong.

Cute quilts Cathi, the teddy bears look very happy with your endeavors LOL.
The LeMoyne is my favorite one, but then anything with a LeMoyne star is a winner in my book :0)

Darling little quilts, I’m so glad you shared them with us… I was thinking to myself, I imagine you have a wonderful husband like I do. I have a mental picture of the two of you in the elevator or stairs, going down to the garden w/teddy bears and blankets in tow… like two youngsters, smiling…
then some serious business man gives you a second look. 🙂
I was thinking, I know Cathi has a great husband like I do, who would do anything to help and encourage her talent and he just smiles back whilst holding her bears and blankets… 🙂
Just had to share this with you. XO
