The purple seems to be darker and richer surrounding this block’s cream hexagons. I was wondering if the purple would work with this one. It seems that the the purple truly is working as a neutral with every single block done so far.
The back:
There was a little bit of rain Wednesday afternoon, after which the sun came right back out and it was wonderfully warm and humid. These flowers have a few raindrops still on them.
This tree is definitely showing that fall is on the way. We’re not seeing much in the way of leaf colour changing around here yet, so seeing this tree was a bit of a surprise.
Showing Lester’s full ruff all combed and looking great is an impossible task. As soon as he’s combed he starts licking and chewing on it again. So this is probably the best shot we’ll get:

Love the block, the center looks like a crowd of butterflies flitting across. I bet Lester loves getting combed and he messes it up again just so he can get more combing LOL.Crispy

I really am loving the purple, just beautifully framing the block!! We are definitely having some fall changes here, no doubt about that. Lester is looking mighty regal and Smudge, well, he is looking close…

Ohhh, I love this block! Lester does have quite a coat. Some day I hope to have an orange colored cat. Mine are both calico. Smudge does like to pose. LOL Winona

The little trees are the only ones that have completely changed here. Even though some started a few weeks ago, they haven't progressed much.Did you ever find any more of that butterfly wing swirly fabric? I have found several colors in my stash.

Fall is starting to show up around here too, which is yet another reminder of how quickly life is flying by these days. Purple is definitely a great color with your blocks. I am surprised that your purple shows up so well – it always comes out blue in my pictures.
