… is done for a total, so far, of 5. By my calculations, that’s just slightly less than 1/30th of the number I need. They’re such fun to stitch that I have no worries that I’ll be sick of them.
And this is the black music fabric that arrived on Wednesday from a very good friend. It’s washed and ready to be cut and printed.

The weather continues to be absolutely glorious. Lovely warm days. Mr. Quilt Obsession had to go north of the city on Wednesday and reported that some of the leaves on the trees up there are absolutely brilliant crimson. Around here nothing is turning much at all. I’ve seen a very few leaves turning yellow on the roof garden. I’m hoping we have leaves until late October as they make such a wonderful difference to our view. Although when the leaves fall and then it’s windy, the kitties have a great time trying to hit the leaves flying by the windows.
Lester is enjoying every minute on the windowsill:

Smudge is looking QUITE regal. Great shot! What totally fun music fabric. I'm so excited for you. That's just perfect. Also, I finally took some time to study the back of the block. Interesting how this one is pressed. And of course the front – the block – this is so great. So fun!!! Makes me very happy.

I'm always impressed with how much you have accomplished, and how lovely your work is. I haven't mentioned that I have a collection of music fabric – mostly because it's not easy to lay my hands on right now, and because it's not all in black and white. (Plus it's earmarked for a wedding quilt first, but that's another story.)Scritches to Smudge and Lester!

The blocks are looking fantastic! Yes, fall is definitely on its way. You know what that means, winter is not too far off. Again the cats are as regal as can be.

Your block is beautiful! What would we do without our kitty friends? I brushed Callie out good this morning. (Just made her day. NOT! LOL) She looks all shiny and pretty now. She is laying in her normal place, on my cutting mat. LOL Aeris is hiding somewhere, sound asleep, I'm sure. Have a good day. Winona
