These are starting to go together very quickly. Block 3 was done in no time. I’ve decided to add the setting octagons along 2 sides of each block as I make them. That way I won’t need to add too many at the end.

It was a chilly weekend and definitely feels and looks like fall. Sunday evening it was below 60F. I’m wondering what happened to our summer this year. We got maybe a week and a half of our normal summer heat. However, they say we’ll have a warm week once we get past today.
If you left a comment in the past couple of weeks and I didn’t respond, I apologize. I got so far behind with responding to comments that I feel like I’ll never catch up. The comments are very much appreciated and I will stay on top of them this week.
Lester in his normal window spot:

What a GREAT block. I love this!!! Lester is so cute with his MSKP's on the window sill. He's sure he can fit! And gosh, isn't Smudge just so snuggable? Have a great day my friend. *karendianne.

This block is just fantastic. Just a little different from the other blocks (POTC), but just as lovely. It has been cold here too. I was just saying yesterday that we maybe had 2 weeks of summer! The kitties look so happy especially Smudge with his lamb. Pavi has taken a liking to a stuffed chipmunk we have.

Great looking block, Cathi and a super idea attaching the connecting octagons as you go. I wish I had thought of that when I started my GFG quilt. It will certainly save a lot of time in the long run.Hugs to the fur babies.

Those are 2 of the cutest kitty pictures yet. That makes sense to add to 2 sides. You know you will need at least that much on every block.Sometimes I just publicly thank everyone on my blog for the comments rather that try to do them all individually. Don't feel bad about not doing them all. After all the idea was to rest your hands and wrists.

Lester pretty much has one pose: in the windowsill, looking out the windows or back at the camera.Smudge, on the other hand, looks to be planning his next pose each time you capture him with the camera. What do you want to bet he peruses these photos after you've gone to bed at night to see which ones show off his personality best? lol

Beautiful blocks! Smudge is unbelievably adorable with his little lamb and blankie!!!!! Does Lester ever fall asleep and fall off the window ledge? So sorry that summer has flirted with you and not come to stay. I tried so hard to send hot humid weather your way 🙂
