The sampler is progressing rather rapidly at this point. I keep playing with the idea of making a pieced border and turning this into a quilt/sampler wall-hanging when it’s finished.

The bat and the first of a number of peacocks that are in this sampler were fun to do — I couldn’t help laughing at Bertie Bat.

There’s definitely a feel that fall is on the way. The light is different and the temperature is dropping quite a bit overnight. Although we’ll have a hot afternoon today, that fall feel is creeping in.
I recently found that someone had lifted a photo from my blog without asking first if it was okay to do so. I know that by blogging and posting photos, one takes that chance but it still bothers me a bit that someone would do that without at least asking if it was okay.
Lester enjoying the windowsill.

Smudge, when he waiting for his evening treat of a bit of yogourt.

Your sampler looks beautiful!! Of course, Ijust love the pink!! Smudge and Lester always are looking just lovely! I totally understand how you feel about the photo. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Wow! You're really making fast progress on that sampler! Can't wait to see it finished . . .Smudge waits for yogurt . . . our cat, the Queen, Miss Kitty, waits for butter (who'da thunk?)! Aren't cats funny? I love the pix of yours in all your updates — keep them coming.

Okay well first off I love that sampler and thanks for pointing out the Bat. That is cute. I really love the peacock, too. You know you have a lovely hand. I've not the touch to do this sort of work and I love the idea of making a quilt here.Yogurt! That is a treat. :)As for lifting photos, you know I'm sorry that happened. You have so many lovely things here. Were you even given CREDIT? It's really rude not to even ask. More than rude, inconsiderate. Sad.

Oh man, Cathi. It's gorgeous!!!What count linen are you using and what will be the approximate finished size? I don't know how to figure that out yet.I just love it to pieces…or did I already say that?I think there's going to be a permanent impression of Lester's hiney on that windowsill saying that 'Lester was here'. (wink)

I think a pieced border sounds good.I often wonder how many times my pictures might be somewhere else too. I wonder if there is any way of tracking it.
