This sampler will be one of the projects that will be in the rotation I’m trying to set up for the various things I have in progress.
So far, I have selected the sampler, the Harpsichord Quilt, the Patchwork of the Crosses and the Snow Crystal blocks for the line-up. I’ve even gone so far as to pick out what I think will work for the sashing of the Snow Crystal blocks. The question I’m trying to sort out is whether I should leave it at 4 projects. That may be the best idea for me as if I have too rigid a schedule I know I won’t follow it.
My hands have been aching a bit again, which I think has a lot to do with the weather. Mr. Quilt Obsession may step in for me a day this week. We’ll see.
Lester, stretched out on the couch. He is a very long cat. You can’t quite tell from this picture, but stretched out like this he entirely covers the width of the middle seat of the sofa and then some!
Smudge curled up in a chair.
Yesterday, I received 6 or 7 comments on various posts from the same person who seems to be someone who’s using comments on blogs to try to advertise some money-lending offer. I deleted the comments, and have left comments unmoderated for now. If there are more from this person, I will turn on comment moderation for a few days. Hopefully, it doesn’t come to that.

Cathi,I just love to see your embroidery. I find I was contemplating taking it up again recently as you were influencing me. Eventually I stopped myself and just ordered some more yarn. Girl, what a grreat snap of Lester. I love it. That's a picture I'd have to resist snuggling up against. Sometimes they don't want to be bothered when they're stretched just so. …at least Kipling is like that.Enjoy the use of your hands for priority work as you can. I don't think there is anything here that screams for a reply. I didn't ask any questions, just healing, resting love…

I'm really loving that little sampler your making…and oh the rabbit! Cute, cute, cute!! Rest up your hands when you can…we don't mind the Mr stepping in as long as he keeps providing us with Lester and Smudge. Lester looks all comfy and "off guard" from the window finally. 🙂

The comments like that recently happened to me too. The comment itself had nothing to do with the post. Like you, I deleted and left moderation off. I have had no further instances. It was fun seeing Mr. Quilt Obsession's take on things.

I'm lovin' it, Cathi! Maybe I'll start it in the New Year.Mary from Quilt Hollow sent me a link to a free Halloween x-stitch pattern, so that might be my next start. If you'd like it, let me know. I'm reluctant to start one of my 'real' samplers at the moment because I've got several swap gifts to make and I don't want to get dustracted. (wink)Hopefully the 'boys' will have a little more energy as we're supposed to have some relief from the oppressive heat and humidity in the next few days.Take care of those hands!

The sampler is lovely, I thought it was the Wigham one when Mr QO showed Smudge reading the pattern. It would probably be best to have a few projects listed and then add to it if you need to IMHO.Crispy

It will probably be more fun to just have the ones you are most excited about in the rotation. You can always add another in if you get to a contempltation point on one and don't want to rush it.

I love that sampler, and the floss color you chose is my favorite! Can't wait to see it grow.

I hate those stupid comments from cyberspace. So unbelievably annoying. I love the stitchery. I like to rotate projects too. It seems to prolong them in one sense but it is best for me.

What great progress, Cathi! I especially like the rabbit and the tulip (the one at the most bottom left)
