Snow Crystal Blocks Revisited

The snow crystal blocks which will eventually be the pink and white quilt I’ve wanted to make are back in the line-up of things to work on. Or, rather, they will be back when my wrists get better.

I thought my wrists were better, but by Monday night knew I was wrong. I can’t even pick up a glass of water at this point without pain. I did a bit of ironing and rotary cutting on Friday. Guess I should have waited longer. Edited to add: I am going to take a few days off from blogging and give the wrist a real rest.

Smudge:

Lester in his normal summer spot — on the windowsill.

  1. I'm with Jackie on this, rest that wrist!! If it hurts, don't do it, that includes being on the computer. We will understand if you don't blog for a while.Gentle Hugs,Crispy

  2. I linked here from Quilt Hollow(and there from Quiltville) because she said we had to come look at pics of Smudge and Lester. Your cats are…well, I'm not sure what words I am searching for. They are good words, charming came to mind, but doesn't complete the thougt or emotion. For some strange reason I feel I know Lester. Please don't freak out or think I'm totally bonkers, but he looks like…well, someone, more than a cat! I guess he just looks so deep in thought in so many of the pictures. Smudge on the other hand, what a name, seems to be quite a cat! and yes that is also a complement. Just had to share. Oh, and your quilt work is lovely too!Blessings, debbie
