Tropical Punch — Again | Quilt Obsession

One thing good about working on this surprise project is that I’ve remembered and brought out some projects that need finishing! All that’s left to do with these blocks is to set them. I’m still undecided on that — whether to set them in a square something like this or to set them in a long row as a table runner.

Lester in his normal summer spot — by the window. We’re supposed to have a very hot and humid weekend. I can’t wait! So far they’re saying we’ll hit 42C on Sunday with the humidex and it looks as though most of next week will be nice and hot. Finally!!

Love those blocks …. they look and feel like summer.I can't believe that we are to have some hot, hot days. What a treat that will be. Guess we'll find out if our A/C works or not.Your Smudge is like my Ashes when she relaxes.

We're supposed to get the hot weather all weekend too and I am dreading it. I have loved our cool summer with rain at least twice a week. I didn't get a chance to go out and dig today because the rain started already. I guess I'll have to sew…..

You like hot and humid, Cathi? Yuk!Today is paradise…72 degrees with a brisk breeze, no humidity and sunny. Can it get any better than that?I like the way you have your rainbow blocks as you displayed them. IMHO, I think it would be more functional this way rather than as a table runner. They're gorgeous though and I'm sure they'll be spectacular no matter which way you set them.Your fur babies have such a hard life. Sigh.
