In honour of summer, I just had to make one of the POTC blocks with a floral and some greens.
We had another glorious hot and humid day. I wish summer lasted more than a couple of months. This weather is fantastic!
I couldn’t resist this shot — as the sun was going down, it was reflecting off the glass in one of the office towers and the gold shining through the leaves was really pretty.
Smudge — I’m not quite sure what that look is saying, but he looks almost small in this shot!
And Lester in his favourite spot — on the windowsill. He stretches right out and shows off his lovely big paws!

Oh I so want a kitty! We heard meowing & the dogs began barking. I looked over the gate, & there was a lovely smokey grey & white cat in the tree, watching us! I thought it might be 'my cat' come to me at last, but when I approached it ran off, & has not returned. Thanks for you comment on my blog, & Good Luck to youXX

The block is lovely – so summery and garden-like.As for Smudge – would he happen to be looking at anyone, perchance? LOL

Cathi,Love the pansies in the middle! What a sunshiny looking block! No, I have yet to try silk although I have some coming in the mail. I will do an after-action report after I use it.It's good to know that the wool is also good for hand-quilting.
