A Little Curved Piecing

When I need to relax after a long bout of proofreading, I love to pick up the pieces to make these little blocks! I’m playing with the idea of making a sampler quilt of all the various settings. It will have a great spring feeling to it and I’ll have a lot of fun making it. These go together so easily, thanks to the perfect markings and matching points one gets printing on fabric with Inklingo.

If there is one thing that Smudge knows, it’s how to relax.

He has the silkiest fur — it’s almost impossible to resist patting him.

DH goes back to the eye doctor this morning and then I think he’ll either be seeing or talking to his GP this afternoon. His eye is definitely improving, which is a good thing, but he is going to ask for the referral to an infection specialist. This has just gone on too long.

  1. I agree that you need to follow your instincts on getting the right specialist help. Hope it all clears up soon for your DH.What pretty Spring-like fabrics! I have a stack of drunkard’s path blocks just sitting, because I can’t decide on a setting for them. (I am the queen of UFOs!)Love loungy Smudge. Give him a squish for me.

  2. We’re thinking good thoughts for your DH. My own DH has had iritis, and it’s bad enough on its own. Also, good thoughts for you because it’s worrying and stressful when our DHs are ill, and scritches to the kitties.

  3. Hope to hear the appointment went well. Cathi, a sampler quilt is one of the best Ideas you’ve had to date and boy we know you have great ideas and a lot of ’em. Doesn’t Smudge want his little nose kissed? “no” he thinks but it’s so cute!!!
