I’m slowly making progress on the baby quilt. I realized that I need to make more pink and blue stars so progress on the top itself will be stalled for a few days while I stitch some more of those together. The rows actually go together rather quickly if I have all the pieces ready, so I’m hopeful I’ll have the little top done by sometime mid-February.
Lester looking very thoughtful.
Smudge has developed a new habit during this cold, cold winter. He’ll disappear and we’ll be looking all over for him, only to find that he has burrowed under the duvet on the bed. He’ll stay in there for hours!

Your Butterfly Stars quilt is really looking good! Just perfect for a sweet little one.

Are you sure Smudge isn’t a hairy human? I guess those kitties like to burrow into all kinds of places. I have never had a house cat, just farm cats when I was a kid.Your little quilt is looking great.

Extremely cute quilt! I had just found some old butterfly blocks at the thrift shop & bought them for the pattern. LOL Also, hand-stitching a similar star pattern in men's shirts! But, what a wonderful block combo your baby quilt is!

Oh that cat is very kind to let you share his bed *W*.. we find our cat in the weirdest of places.. yesterday, we thought he was ‘lost’.. called him, the kids looked for an HOUR for him, and finally he was found in one of the kids drawers that was open about 3″.. how do cats do that??? oh and your butterfly quilt is cute too! :O))

Smudge has the cutest pink nose and Lester, yes, he is certainly thinking. Thinking of how lucky he is to have such a good family to love him. :)As for the quilt, I love seeing it and I think it would be adorable the way it is but I can see where you’re coming from. 😉

Smudge is a very wise cat, we all should be snuggled up under the duvet when the weather is this cold.I love how that quilt is coming along.Gill

We had a little beagle dog when I was a kid who used to sleep under the covers with her head on the pillow!
