The label is, for the most part, finished. All that’s left now is to press all the little seams, write the names on the centre panel and then stitch that to the flower border.
The window cleaners came today. They did the exterior and we did the interior. It’s wonderful! Of course, it immediately started to rain but they’re much cleaner after that summer of rain, rain and more rain!
I’m not sure what the plant is that is turning that wonderful pink shade. It was green all summer but now is really quite striking to look out and see. I took this and the next photo from our living room.
The rain was falling but the flowers surrounding this crab apple tree are still very vibrant. I couldn’t resist trying for a shot of them as well.

The last couple of days, Lester has been hanging out on the windowsill a lot. Today was fun — we got a lot of good shots of him.
Smudge, just after his yogourt treat the other night. If you look closely, you can see that he has a bit of yogourt on his nose still.

great photos there.Gill

Such an amazing bunch of little tiny pieces – you have made a beautiful label. I can imagine that the women will be thrilled with it. It is so interesting to see how it looks from the back with all the little seams.
