There were 164 comments which, after taking out double comments and those from people who didn’t want to be included in the giveaway, ended up at 157 comments. Using the random generator was fine but counting down or up could have been really daunting. There has to be a better way of choosing a random winner! Any hints appreciated!
This was what I considered doing for a minute – letting Baxter draw the winner. But Baxter loves to chew paper. 157 little pieces of paper could have been a nightmare, but I love the ‘toon!

Baxter does indeed look surprised. I’m sure you have caught a lot of funny expressions. Digital photograph is so much fun compared to the old way of waiting for prints.

Congratulations to Joanne! Oh my, 164 comments…..folk have a way of coming out of the woodwork for a giveaway, don’t they? Perhaps you could write the numbers out and have Baxter stick his claw in one, a bit like picking a winner with a pin.

Congrats to the winner!! I vaguely remember having an option to number each comment in blogger perhaps WordPress has the same option or code you can add. Wouldn’t hurt to ask them :0)
