As I have lots and lots of these printed, cut out and ready to stitch, I’ve been working a little bit on the flower buds top again. These are half-inch hexagons which I’ve pieced into 4-unit buds. I’m thinking I may just make this large enough for a doll’s or teddy bear’s quilt.
The back of this one fascinates me — love how it looks after pressing.

Smudge pondering something. Perhaps a toy on the floor or whether it’s a time for a nap?

The hexagons are fantastic! I have never seen them pressed in that manner. That is really neat! I just love seeing your kitties. I know I have to get some more pics of my kitties.

Cathi those are adorable. I like your color combination. I too am working ona hexie quilt but each hexie is 1/4 inch. It is a charm quilt. I do cut off the excess fabric because I do not want the bulk.

Wow, they are small. It would drive me nuts to work on something that small.

1/2" hexagons, Cathi? I just can't imagine! I thought I was nuts when I started my GFG quilt with 1" ones but I wanted a replica of my antique one so that's what I elected to go with. It's working up really nicely and I think your idea about a doll or bear quilt is a super idea.Great job!

The back is prettier than the front, Cathi. Have you ever thought of making the back the front, and make just a spectacular quilt out of it?

More power to you for working with such bitty hexagons! Love Smudge's expression and Lester looks like he is saying "I shall pardon you for interrupting me. Can't you see I'm busy here on the ledge"
