As we watched the Wednesday night news coverage of what’s going on in Ottawa, I began yet another Snow Crystal. I love this pink print!! It’s wonderfully easy to needle and presses beautifully — although you wouldn’t know it from this picture. I’m hoping to finish this one Thursday.
Although Lester is in this shot, it’s really more about the way the light plays on the office building across the roof garden in the late afternoon. It was really remarkably pretty this afternoon — there was a real pink glow to it. Hmm — seems to be a theme here. Pink, pink and more pink.

I think working on Snow Crystals is the only way to get through that nasty Ottawa business! I opted to go to my sewing room instead of watching the news this evening. If only life was this simple – some fabric, a needle, a spool of thread and a nice pattern!

I love that pink glow on the building. Once in awhile I’ll glance out my front window and the house across the street will be pink, and then I have to run to the back window to see the sunset. How many different pink fabrics do you have?

Cathi,I don’t know which crystal I like better, the one from yesterday or today’s… I think I might favor the one today’s just a tad bit more! 🙂

Cathy, lovely the way you highlighted the color in the office building – the pink, pink, and more pink.I like today’s block with the touch of sparkle. And okay, Smudge is interesting in this shot! What is he spying. He isn’t just looking or gazing, he’s really spotting on to somthing!
