Pink and White

I spent part of Wednesday afternoon getting these fabrics ready to print and then printing them. Now I have all the bits necessary for about a dozen Snow Crystal blocks and I’ve printed a bunch of extra diamonds for the swap.

It’s almost addictive, printing the templates on to the fabric. Sometimes I wonder if perhaps I didn’t have enough time as a child to play with paper dolls or something!

This is one of the silliest photos of Smudge we’ve got yet. This one makes me laugh out loud every time I look at it.

And then there’s this one of Lester. I love this. Not sure what we did to the camera to get this effect, but I love it! Of course, he has his favourite toy under his paw.

  1. I’m totally intruiged by the idea of printing templates onto fabric!I don’t have a lot of time for hand piecing these days but I love it and just won some hand piecing templates in a drawing.I love triangle paper and bought a program to print my own. I love patterns with hexagons and diamonds but they are so difficult to work with. I do love the prepwork involved in projects nearly as much as the actual making of them, LOL.

  2. I think your snow crystal blocks are beautiful and of course pink looks great in anything, so can’t wait to see how this looks when done. Lester and Smudge are just purrrrfect as usual.

  3. If I keep coming back to your blog often enough, I’m going to have to order Inklingo. I really love your hexagon quilt from before so can’t wait to see the snow crystals. Love the fall photos, too!!!!!
