It is somewhat cooler here, particularly at night, so I thought I’d get back to quilting the baby bow-tie quilt. Got about two threads done and then Lester decided it looked really interesting.
I could finish the area I was working on but, unless I was willing to move him, nothing more was going to get quilted! And I was definitely not willing to move him. This is going to be wonderful — as the nights get cooler I can have the quilt draped over my legs and no doubt the odd kitty visitor. Cozy!

LOL! I know what you mean. Today my fur girls seemed to have a need to snug up to, and on me, while I was doing my binding… Makes for a bit of difficulty… but we love them! 8-)Happy stitchings!

They must all be the same Cathi…my Ollie jumps up and snuggles in and the more I move my needle and thread away the closer he gets…

My boy snuggles under the quilt & he is quite miffed when you move it. Oh & he can't figure out why doll quilts don't provide adequate coverage.I too am ready for cooler weather…

Lovely pictures and yes it’s unanimous – my three make a beeline for me when I’m quilting.

Our cats have always been mezmarized (spelling?) by the needle and thread going in and out. ANd then they swipe at it!

I love this picture. Lester looks very inquisitive but I bet he had an ulterior motive. He just knew that mom wouldn’t shoo him away. Nothing better than snuggling up in a new quilt. So much for quilting, huh? LOL What a blessing to have sweet fur babies to snuggle with. Take care.Aloha!

Hahaha – what a cute post this is, Cathi! :)I love the colors in your bowtie quilt. Maybe if you get Lester started in quilting, you will have more time to get working on other quilts! 😉

Would love to know the story of the Raggedy Anne the background. My mother used to make them and they will always remind me of her.
