Jake
2002 – June 27, 2018
We never did know exactly when his birthday was, but did know the year. We were fortunate to have had him in our lives since 2013. He was a very sweet cat and had such an expressive face. I keep looking for him in the kitty tree and the paw-waving escapades.

Awe…. so sorry Cathi…. we all love our animals soo much. They touch our hearts though in the short we have with them. Hugs I hope Baxter handles it ok.

Cathi I don’t think I’ve ever commented before to say how much I enjoy your posts. And the enjoyment was as much from seeing what the cats were up to as from what beautiful blocks you were creating. Jake will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

Oh, this is so sad! But you gave him a really good life after his former owner could not and I’m sure Baxter will miss him, too! Our animals just don’t live long enough!

I lost my best buddy this year. He was 18. I understand the feeling of loss you are having. The heartache will subside and the great memories take over. I am sorry for the loss of your friend.

I am sorry to read this. Our pets become a part of us and a much loved family member. When they pass on it is very upsetting. Our beloved budgie Frankie died last week aged nearly 16. I feel your loss.x

Cathi, I’m so sorry for your loss. Jake was so sweet and looks beautiful in the picture you posted today. I hope you get it printed and framed. You will all miss him so much. I cried gallons of tears when my cat died. I still think of him every day. His picture is up on my wall and the little pool of water on the bath tub top edge that I now wipe dry I always left for him. He liked drinking it. They don’t leave our memories ever.
