Row 2 of the POTC top is together but it was too windy to attempt to photograph it outside yesterday. I’m hoping today we will be able to get a photo of it. After I finished getting the second row together, I decided to add the border segments to the outer edges of the remaining blocks before I put them together into rows. Once that’s done it will go very quickly, as it’s nothing but continuous stitching joining the blocks together into rows and then the rows together into the top.
So I got the lower left-hand corner block finished with its two border segments.
I’m grading the seams now as I finish adding the border segments. Once that’s done it only takes a few minutes to press.
If I stay as focused as I have been for the past couple of weeks, this top will be together sometime next week. I’m thinking now of how I might quilt it.
“Alien Scrabble.”
Baxter often has an afternoon nap in his kitty tree. Mr. Q.O. captioned this one, “Wake me for dinner.”
Baxter needs a bigger kitty tree! Hmmmm…….alien scrabble could be fun. POTC is coming along well!
