Piecing of my favourite shabby chic fabrics, that is. One more of the shabby Yin Yang blocks was stitched last night to add to the stack. I need to do a lot of stitching with black and white fabrics for the Pickled Ladies setting pieces and border, but really wanted to play with some of my favourite fabrics last night. I’m not working to a deadline so it’s easy to jump to another project.

The stack of shapes waiting to be stitched together. The blocks finish at 6″ and I think maybe there’s another 20 or 30 blocks to be made. Whatever size it ends up, I know it’s going to be one of my favourites.
It’s fast and easy to press.
Maybe today I’ll get a start on printing the shapes I need for the Pickled Ladies border. Maybe. Or maybe I’ll play with a couple more Yin Yang blocks or perhaps add something to the Summer Picnic Dish quilt. Those three are the projects I want to try to focus on.

Ahhh, the pink and greens are sooo yummy! I love the Yin and Yang design, but I haven’t developed your fondness for curves yet! 🙂

I also love the Yin and Yang design. Do you find that there is alot of waste with the printing through Inklingo? That is one of the things holding me back…
