My favorite Inklingo collection is Orange Peel deluxe…and only because I LOVE that Alabama Beauty block.

Do we really have to limit it to one favorite?? I love all the curves, but I think top of the list is the orange peel deluxe…I’m especially taken by the Alabama beauty. A close second is the sunflower collection.

Oh lord, just one favourite. Ive always wanted to make a double wedding ring but the thought of machine piecing put me off, then i discovered hand piecing and inklingo 🙂 well you know the rest

I agree, it is too hard to pick a favorite. Every new design you show makes me drool. I love the feathered star with the sunflower you placed inside, loving it in red and white. The Alabama Beauty blocks have always been a favorite as well. Thanks for sharing each new design and project you are working on, what great inspiration!!!

It was actually very hard to pick a favorite but I’m going to have to say the sunflower blocks. Although I’m not a hand-piecer, I really enjoy seeing you use each shape collection as they come out. Especially your choice of fabrics. Although your tutorial made piecing the yin-yang blocks doable, it still looks a little tricky. However, I think I could manage the sunflowers.

One? Seriously, one? As a coastal dweller, I should make a storm at saw quilt SOMEDAY, but I love the pickle dish a lot! Sadly, I swoon every time you post an Alabama beauty block, so I think that might be the one. I had no idea these were PDF files, I thought it must involve software. So glad to be able to download a sample block and see how I do with it!

I have never used inklingo, but I follow all that is new and love to see what you are doing with it. I think I like the one with the curves, clam shell, winding ways, yin yan and so forth. I would love to try them.

Right now my favorite collection is the DWR. I am in the process of hybrid piecing two twin size DWR quilts. I machine pieced the arcs and then handpieced everything else. I have all of the blocks made and joined into rows. Now I am joining the rows together. I hope to have them finished in about three more weeks. I have really enjoyed hand piecing these quilts using Linda Franz’s DWR collection. Her marking has made it so easy and also her excellent instructions including the trick of circling the intersection. My intersections and points are perfect. I am going to be so proud of these quilts! I never did very much hand piecing and wondered how anyone could handpiece a whole entire quilt? With Linda’s collections it’s wonderful and enjoyable and very relaxing. I LOVE inklingo! I also enjoy your blog! Have a fun weekend……….. Lynda Lois

I really like the Shapes with Curves. I can see that it’s also your favourite. I notices right away the clamshell and I seem to remember that you’ve been making a lot of them recently. The ying-yangs look really nice, I’ve only ever seen them in blacks and whites.

Hmm…how to choose just one?! I can’t decide between oh-so-useful squares or triangles that I would use all the time or the curves, that I may not use as much but would enable a winding ways quilt to climb up my ‘one day’ list! One of these days I’ll find time to investigate the Inklingo site and work out what to do! Thanks for the giveaway!

The Curves collection would be my favorite. I do enjoy handpiecing, and this collection provides a means to do curved designs more accurately than templates or any other method.

Cathi, it’s good to see all the different fabrics in you’ve used with this collection. I think my favourite is the shabby chic. They are so delicate and delicious.
I can’t really say which is my favourite collection as I’d like to be able to have them all…. well I have a few already but some I’ve yet to try out being a slow coach 😉 I have a lot of catching up to do 😉 I will say that your Ferris Wheel was a beaut! I love the variety of Dresden Plates too. I need a lot of practice with curved piecing as I’m not quite comfortable with it yet. BUT it is so much more easier with INKLINGO match points printed on the fabric.

I’ve been dithering for a long time between Storm at Sea and Patchwork of the Crosses. The curved collections are beautiful but I’m content to admire what you’re doing with them rather than taking them on myself.

It’d be like trying to decide which of my dogs I love most. (Only have one kid, so that’s not a problem.) I have a bunch of hexes, the DWR and the Dresden Plate. The HST’s get used often, I’ve started the pickled clamshell and a blazing start out of a diamond. Pies and tarts are waiting for me to spend more time with them. Pick just one? Are you nuts?

I first discovered your blog when you were making pickled ladies blocks and have been following it since then. My favourite shape is the clam shell and am amazed by what can be made from that shape. I have yet to try hand piecing a block but have read your tutorials several times and plan on giving it a try soon.

Hi. I have a few Inklingo shapes. Your tutorials on curved piecing have been very helpful to me and I enjoy your blog very much. I really like the orange peel shape and the Alabama Beauty block that is made from that. I started with Inklingo because of the hexagon shape and it still is a favorite for me. Well, now I’ve listed two and I think I will add one more. I really loved the story behind the school house block and it is really a neat block also. Thank you Lois
